Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 17, 2026
DoodleMagic is a coloring app for kids ages 5–10, built so that parents stay in control of everything that matters. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your family’s data.
Photos
Photos stay on your device by default. Children only ever see photos a parent has added to the DoodleMagic Album — never the device photo library. Location and camera metadata (EXIF/GPS) is stripped from every photo when it is imported.
The optional “Magic” conversion style sends a photo to our server so it can be redrawn as a coloring page. This happens only with recorded parental consent. The photo is stripped of metadata before upload, is processed by our zero-retention server and its image-generation provider, and is never stored. Without consent or an internet connection, all conversions run entirely on the device.
Analytics
The app records anonymous usage events (for example, that a page was completed) tied to a random device identifier. Analytics never include photos, names, contact details, or any other personal information.
What we never do
- No ads, no ad networks, no tracking for advertising.
- No accounts — the app works without sign-up.
- No selling or sharing of data with third parties.
- No photo access by any third-party SDK.
Children’s privacy
DoodleMagic is designed to comply with COPPA. Cloud features require parental consent, and all sharing, printing, exporting, and purchase controls sit behind a parental gate.
